Disintegration C.E.

Disintegration C.E. is the artist moniker for Denver-based Eric Robertson, who has been collecting and mixing DJ sets on the melodic sides of tech house and house for the last 25 years. Only recently beginning to release original tracks and sharing out his DJ mixes in late 2024. Of his long and intensely personal relationship to creating and performing music he shares the following: "There was a point about ten years ago in my mid thirties that I kept asking myself.. why are you even still doing this if you aren't going to share with...often literally, anyone? I couldn't answer that at first..but I kept asking myself because I was continued to feel compelled to create DJ mixes compulsively almost monthly . Then I realized it was really my way of journaling... sort of cataloguing the things I experience...for myself." Evoking influences ranging from the UK garage of the late nineties and early 2000s to early introduction to Green Velvet and Groove Armada at an early EDC while participating in the massive rave scene in Southern California during the same era, to 80's new wave, indie rock and modern day trap and drill while grounded in an interplay of rhythm and melody uniquely his own in voice, Disintegration C.E. hopes to help push the larger dialogue to inspire future musicians within the techno inspired house genre.
