Cory Young

Singer songwriter Cory Young was born in Orange County California April 4, 1997. At the age of 15, Cory won a local “Battle of the Bands” contest, that sparked the beginning of his music career. In 2019 he was selected to perform in front of Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie on season 17 of American Idol. Shortly after leaving the show, Cory released his first EP on Spotify, and now has over 4.5 million streams across all platforms. Some of his work has been recognized nationally, “Butterflies” won best song in the “American Roots” genre ( 2021 ). Cory now has garnered a following on social media and has over 90,000 followers on Instagram and over 70,000 on TikTok. His debut album will be released in 2024.
