Ale Martin

Ale Martín is an Argentine tenor who has turned his journey from the plains of Latin American folk into a powerful, modern crossover voice in Europe. Born in Córdoba and raised in Catamarca, he first made a name for himself singing Argentine folklore before moving to the Canary Islands, where he became a regular on the stages of Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria. There he created shows like Mi Gran Pasión, recorded live at the Auditorio Insular de Fuerteventura alongside renowned timple player Domingo “El Colorao”. From the islands he leapt to international stages, singing in Paris at the “Bonjour Paris” festival in Place de la Concorde, and later touring Spain, the UK, Ireland, France, the Czech Republic and Germany with a blend of bel canto, tango and Latin American roots. In 2019 he joined the German orchestra MV Otterbach as principal tenor, settling in southwestern Germany near the French border while continuing to perform and tour. His discography traces that journey: Ale Martín con Fusión a Folclore (2010), the live album Mi Gran Pasión (2019), and Sin Estilo (2024), where he fuses classical lyricism, tango, rock and cinematic pop into his own signature sound.
