Loema

LOEMA is a three headed experimental indie band from Utrecht. With sultry lyrics and dreamy sounds, they create an auditory world about the dogma of loving and letting go. The members Loes Bisschop (vocals, keys, bass), Max van Westerop (guitar, vocals) & Nelleke Grimberg (keys, vocals, percussion) move playfully between instruments, weaving defined guitar sounds, hushed electronics and uncanny samples into a vulnerably dark framework. The upcoming EP called ‘Flowers For No One’ is a concept EP based on the process of grief after ending a relationship. Throughout the entire EP there is one main metaphor that spreads through the sounds and lyrics: flowers.
