Alex Tomb – DJ & Producer Not confined to a single genre, DJ and producer Alex Tomb lets his sound flow freely, creating a musical dialogue across various styles. His DJ sets move from deep and introspective grooves to exhilarating and joyful rhythms, reflecting a versatile and emotive approach to electronic music. Starting a residency at Klubd in Nicosia at just 23, Alex made a significant impact on the Cyprus electronic scene. Since 2013, he has been a resident at Berlin’s underground daytime party STAUB, celebrated for its sense of community and diverse electronic music offerings. He has also performed at iconic venues including Tresor, Gare Porto, and Kantine am Berghain. In 2017, Alex founded his label, Capparis Spinosa, releasing his own music, exclusive collaborations, and remixes. His work on Claudio PRC’s “12” label and the Maeve release highlights his commitment to expression over confinement. The Paludose Canter EP demonstrates his emotive, mood-traveling approach to the dancefloor. Though established in the European electronic music scene, Alex continues to evolve, remaining open-minded, seeking progress as a producer, DJ, and label owner, and applying the wealth of experience he has gained over the years.
