The Berliner-by-choice has an accurate sense for the balance between feeling openly and remaining charmingly silent. Somehow there’s always a small secret in those finely woven songs that are placed between british songwriter-sensibility and american indie-folk. Yes, you can feel these songs. Yes, you can see the emotion. But Like Mint won’t overwhelm you with those feelings, she will leave room for our own experience. Somehow that’s refreshing, hence the name.
