Sugar Factory
Sugar Factory is the personal project of guitarist and composer Stelios Gagaris and was created in 2009 in Kilkis, GR. Musical genre can’ t be easily described, as post rock blends with cinematic, ambient and avantgarde elements, while analog synths, loops and percussions are combined sometimes harmoniously, sometimes theatrically with distinctive post rock guitars and noises. The project’s live performances are accompanied by visual material, which harmonically complements the industrialized sounds and ‘sweet’ melodies, creating a unique experience. They have shared the stage with bands such as God Is An Astronaut, Wovenhand, Piano Magic, Hidden Orchestra and Underground Youth, among others. In addition, they ‘ve participated in several festivals, such as the international music documentary film festival ‘In Edit’, projecting original visual material (2014), Lefkosia Loop Festival (2017), Let Me Know Fest. (Athens, 2018), Perfomants (online fest. 2021), Mammouth Fest. (2021).
