Andrea Lombardini

A bassist with a focus on improvisational music, he is in high demand due to his versatility in sound, creativity, and sensitivity in various musical styles. In the jazz scene, he has performed with Donny McCaslin, David Binney, Ambrose Akinmusire, Shabaka Hutchings, Josh Johnson, Michael Blake, Jason Lindner, Steve Cardenas, Antonio Sanchez, Kelvin Sholar, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Zach Danziger, Michel Godard, Leo Genovese, Jonas Burgwinkel, Gianluca Petrella, Roberto Cecchetto, Camilla Battaglia, and many others. His collaborations in pop and rock include notable work with Annalisa (as Musical Director), Francesco Renga, Malika Ayane, Mario Biondi, Red Canzian, Erica Mou, Richard Julian, and Eugene Robinson. He holds a degree in Philosophy and in Jazz Music, he’s been teaching at the Conservatories of Udine, Padova, Venice, Milan, and at Siena Jazz University.
