Mike Akida
Mike Akida started DJing in 1990, playing alternative and rock music, and a few years later he switched to electronics. Over the years Mike has developed his own chillout sound playing at parties and festivals worldwide. Since 1994 Mike has been organizing festivals and concerts in Europe, Asia and Africa. One of his most iconic projects that influenced the development of world psychedelic culture is the Samothraki Dance festival on the island of the same name in Greece. Mike has been organizing the Free Earth Festival since 2013, and is currently preparing the festival’s spectacular comeback in 2023 in one of the most stunning locations in Greece.
