GOLDBUUDA is a Korean genre-defying artist, producer, songwriter, creative director, and independent label founder whose work blends Southern hip-hop, Miami bass, crunk, trap, electronic music, and experimental rap. Raised between Miami and Seoul, he has spent nearly a decade expanding the sonic boundaries of Korean hip-hop. Known for introducing new sonic directions years before they reach the mainstream, GOLDBUUDA first emerged alongside his younger sister, Lil Cherry, with Motorola, before continuing to shape a new wave of Korean hip-hop through globally recognized releases including MUKKBANG! and 1000 Words (하늘천따지). As the creative architect behind the vast majority of the Lil Cherry & GOLDBUUDA catalog, he oversees production, songwriting, arrangement, and creative direction across nearly every release. Beyond his own catalog, his production credits include KiiiKiii’s Debut Song, KOGYARU’s KIDS WAR, and collaborations spanning both independent and mainstream artists. Throughout his career, GOLDBUUDA has built independent labels, developed artists, and cultivated creative platforms that continue to influence Korea’s evolving hip-hop landscape. The latest evolution of that vision is SAUCE 1UP, launched with the collaborative EP LEVEL UP OR SHUT UP alongside POPXICK, while the latest Lil Cherry & GOLDBUUDA single, DRESS2KILL, continues the duo’s ever-evolving artistic direction.
