Immy Churchill

Immy Churchill is a singer-songwriter, vocalist and improviser based in London. 'Give Me Time To Breathe' sets to be her first release as a solo artist; an intimate performance of this personal song. Immy grew up immersed in music from a young age, listening to the likes of James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Frank Sinatra and Steely Dan to name but a few of her inspirations. Since, she has been striding out on the UK and European jazz circuit as a vocalist and lyricist, gaining a wealth of experience collaborating in a number of projects (Lukas DeRungs, Florian Arbenz, Emma Rawicz amongst many others). Alongside this, Immy has been developing her own writing, playing her songs in various venues around London and curating 'The Downstairs Living Room Series' at The Vortex Jazz Club as a platform for this output. Now with the debut release of her own songs, it is finally time for her individual artistic voice to take centre stage. Her upcoming releases are a taste of the fresh, yet timeless sound world of her own writing.
