PARRA.DICE moves the crowd and tickles the curious ear. Listening to PARRA.DICE evokes the unrivaled feeling of a warm evening, draping a blanket of final sunbeams and light-footedness, still open for adventure. The band knows this magic can be found by focussing on such a moment; by connecting with the crowd through togetherness and humbleness but nevertheless spreading infectious energy. The collective started in 2021 from the shared need for making music that colors outside the confined genre lines. The result is an energetic, non-male collective that blends genres and instruments into a lush range of musical colors. After a marathon of good-spirited shows in various settings like Wildeburg, Into the Woods, ADE and TivoliVredenburg, the band recorded their debut-EP ‘Au Revoir, Ooievaar!’ and released it in a sold out EKKO in Utrecht. PARRA.DICE waves goodbye to limited genres, labels and other unusable cages. The result is a scenic flight across musical influences, percussive rhythms and dynamic sounds, with a dash of humor!
