Vocalist, songwriter, producer, and visual artist Katie Alice Greer approaches her music with both radical experimentation and undeniably hooky pop sensibilities. She previously fronted the Washington,DC band Priests, and co-founded Sister Polygon Records. Sophomore solo album Perfect Woman Sound Machine, Vol. 1 “feels like an on-the-ground dispatch from a city that only exists in everyone else’s dreams” (Chris Richards) and follows her 2022 solo debut Barbarism.
