Whimsical baroque rock ensemble founded in LA. Brandybuck's music gleefully references the psychedelia of the late 60s and early 70s while appreciating the music that has come since. Formed in Los Angeles, California in 2024, the band started off combining trippy keys with folky guitars, thick beats, bubbling basslines and fuzzed out solos referencing everything from retro rock and progressive rock to classical, jazz and folk. Major influences for Brandybuck's songwriting are Fairport Convention , The Zombies, The Kinks, early era Pink Floyd, and King Crimson as well as more modern music like Damon Albarn's various projects, Joanna Newsom, Andrew Bird and Beck's Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Expanded Edition). They have been compared to levitation room, AJJ, The Lemon Twigs, Candy Claws and Ween among others.
