' Ishq ' is composer , sound designer and synthesist Matt Hillier from Cornwall Uk . As one of the uk's most prolific electronic composers Matt Hillier has released over 50 albums since 1997 under various other pseudonyms including Ishq , Elve , Indigo Egg , Ishvara , Colourform , Omni vu deity , Yunomi , Ishqamatics and collaborated with many leading ambient composers . Matt Hillier releases largely on his own record label ' Virtual ' via limited edition releases which combine his own artwork and photographic manipulations with sound and music . ' Ishqs' music could be regarded as a mix of classical ' Ambient ' styles but explores more experimental styles of electronica also and drifts into abstraction and 4th world styles of music as well as experimental techno. Ishq's music focuses largely on the ' imaginary ' and the hidden and the mysterious and is heavily inspired by the idea of painting a landscape with sound and music for the listeners imagination and Soul.
