Kabul $lim

Azim Inami (1994), also known by his stage name Kabul $lim, is an Amsterdam based guitarist and producer. His guitar playing blends the raw and unfiltered energy of the blues with heartwarming soul and jazz. He first picked up the guitar at the age of ten, after watching a live DVD of Jimi Hendrix at home - a moment that sparked a lifelong dedication to music. At seventeen, Azim expanded into music production, drawn to Hiphop and its sampling culture, he began building his own sound. Today, Kabul $lim’s style bridges genres and generations, combining emotional depth with a raw, unpolished edge. His sound is pure, soulful, and deeply expressive. Whether through his guitar playing or a fully layered beat, his unique approach creates a soundscape that is both innovative and deeply rooted in tradition. Kabul $lim has collaborated with notable artists such as Dio, Ray Fuego, Nnelg, Gerson Main, Willem, Typhoon and many more.
