SLF IMG is the new Italian synth punk sex wave duo from Umberto Cavalloni and Giacomo Stefani. Co-produced and mixed by Luca Venezia (Curses), their debut EP evokes a romantic 80’s Balearic energy fueled by a dark and driving force of early EBM and proto-funk electro acid. The obvious influence of early pioneers like, DAF and Nitzer Ebb shines through in a new, more stripped back twisted-pop, tongue-in cheek irony and graceful approach. Something nostalgic yet new with the sound on their debut EP. Catchy hooks but sinister basslines and synths. This may be their first EP, but it definitely won’t be their last. SLF IMG are built to last.
