Thompson musing on the rebellious spirit of Saturday nights, Too Much Fun Club (LA County/Long Beach) explores the seamier more mundane aspects of ordinary life, while rejecting conventional society in the same vein as the American Beats, and writers like Charles Bukowski. This is done under the influence of angsty energetic British 2-Tone ska bands like The Specials and The Selecter, making for a sound akin to a modern day Symarip. Too much fun indeed.
