DRĖĖĖMY is an Indigenous Egyptian DJ, music producer, vocalist, spoken word poet, multi-instrumentalist, sound designer, arts & culture curator, and community activist pioneering a (r)evolution in "ElectronicDanceMedicine". As a transnational artist, her sound is an organic electronica — an intentional communication of soulful vibration from across the African diaspora that activates transformational dance-floors. Driving rhythms, earthen basslines, natural atmospheres, forgotten instruments, ancestral voices, tribal invocations — ancient sounds mixed with futurist technologies made for remembering and re-writing our individual and collective myths. Inspired by the meta-physical, medicinal power of sound and movement, her journeys are full-spectrum, fusing and layering tempos and sonic textures with storytelling elements to create interactive spaces for personal revelation and collective celebration. Having spent the last almost decade amplifying other underrepresented artists, DREEEMY is the founder of the NYC-based healing arts ecosystem The Collective BAE, and co-creator of THE DANCE and BASSyoga. In 2023, she has embarked on an archival year-long, multi-dimensional eco-afro-futuristic project fusing music, ecology, and culture: MOTHER&WATER. Her first EP in the triptych - “GOLDWATERS” - is set to release Spring 2023. www.dreeemy.com
