Sunset Rollercoaster

Sunset Rollercoaster emerged from the sweaty underworld of Taipei’s indie scene clutching their DX-7s and crooning love songs in a borrowed language. Their music skillfully blends jazz, disco, funk, and soft rock. It’s the sound of neo-nostalgia: a new generation of sophisti-pop that feels like it’s mastered for Japanese hi-fi and played through the steam of a hot spring. Their most recent album, Quit Quietly, is the band at their most mature and contemplative.
