Νοσταλγικός καλλιτέχνης taiwanese indie
Sunset Rollercoaster emerged from the sweaty underworld of Taipei’s indie scene clutching their DX-7s and crooning love songs in a borrowed language. Their music skillfully blends jazz, disco, funk, and soft rock. It’s the sound of neo-nostalgia: a new generation of sophisti-pop that feels like it’s mastered for Japanese hi-fi and played through the steam of a hot spring. Their most recent album, Quit Quietly, is the band at their most mature and contemplative. Less a victory lap than a lookout point, the sound of five musicians slowing down just enough to enjoy the view.
Sunset Rollercoaster plays jazz-inspired synth-pop, indie rock, and city pop, often with a nostalgic and dreamy feel, as heard on their album Quit Quietly.
The current members of Sunset Rollercoaster are Kuo-Hung Tseng, Hung-Li Chen, Shao-Hsuan Wang, Tsun-Lung Lo, and Hao-Ting Huang.
Sunset Rollercoaster originated in Taipei, Taiwan.
