Not many artists start with Billie Eilish favouriting their first demo on Soundcloud. Since then, Billy Sharp has gone on to achieve international success playing flamenco guitar for celebrities, royalty, executive A-listers and multinational enterprises. Loaded with a fresh concept for a record combining his love of Spanish guitar, afrobeat, latin rhythms and indie pop, he booked a one-way flight to Spain, cleared his schedule and started the writing process. Fresh on his arrival back to the UK in 2023 with a laptop packed with demos, he began to build the perfect companion for late-night drives. Dreamy vocals accompanied by percussive and melodic classical guitars, entirely recorded on an old 1960’s Ramirez. “Kitchen Disco Queen” is the first offering from Billy’s debut EP, set to be released Summer 2024.
