Big Pollo
Big Pollo is a Peruvian band formed in 2005 by Tato Elera, Milky Fresh, and brothers Pepe & Bruno Timarchi. Their sound, “Chichafunky”, is a vibrant fusion of Latin funk, psychedelic chicha (Peruvian cumbia), and Afro-Peruvian rhythms. A sound that feels like Peru dancing with the world. Often described as James Brown meeting Chacalón in a futuristic Latin funk universe, Big Pollo has built a unique identity that blends tradition, groove, and global energy. With six studio albums and multiple international tours, the band has performed across the Americas and Europe, including U.S. tours (2013–2014), Europe (2022–2023), and the UK (2025), as well as appearances at festivals such as Boomtown Festival. In 2025, Big Pollo celebrated 20 years as a band with a UK tour, and in 2026 they return with new releases including San Bartolo Chill and their first live album, Live in the UK.
