Niek Baar
Violinist Niek Baar started playing the violin when he was 8 years old. After discovering the instrument in an amusement park in the Netherlands, he completely fell in love and became obsessed with the sound and beauty of the violin. He started taking violin classes in his hometown, Rotterdam. And continued studying in The Hague, Berlin and Munich. His first official album was released in August 2022, and is called: Obsession. It consists of romantic and virtuosic violin works that inspired Niek to become a violinist. The album was recorded in January 2022 with the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra for Channel Classics / Outthere Music His second album is called Solitude and is a tribute to Clara and Robert Schumann.
