Mark Dedross (AKA Markosa) is a producer, audio engineer, recording engineer, remix engineer, arranger, beat maker, ghost writer and musician. With more than 40 years of music making experience under his belt, having started producing at the tender age of 9, creating music for computer games back in the early 80s, he has developed his production and engineering skills to a level that has earned him several hits and even a couple of number 1 records released under many other registered Pseudonyms such as The Gift (with M.I.KE/Push), Maharishi, Wirefly (with Gareth Emery), Nicholls n Dime (with Tony Nicholls), Funk Rockers and more. He is also a former member of Deeptrak. His latest production project - Markosa - even though his success here has been relatively modest, his 2020 remake of Chris Reas Josephine, has gone on to become one of the most streamed ‘Club Edits’ on Spotify. Being that club edits are generally not popular, and its radio edits that tend to get played - this is somewhat of an achievement. Mark has music releases on major labels such as Universal Music and major independent dance labels such Champion Records, New State Music and has releases scheduled to come out on Toolroom. He has also worked with the Revival Records team whos members include James F Reynolds (who has more than 5 billion streams on Spotify credited as Mix Engineer) and Mousse T.
Markosa creates upbeat disco house and nu disco tracks, often featuring soulful vocals and danceable grooves, with releases on labels like Champion Records.
