Daniel Schwarzwald

Daniel Schwarzwald is currently releasing "Dancing With Bach, Live in Tammuz House of Music", and the EP "Connecting" with Shahar Abergel A versatile jazz pianist, composer, songwriter, arranger, orchestrator, and music instructor, his musical journey began with classical piano and expanded to Jazz, chamber music, composition and orchestration. While living in Berlin, Daniel released his first solo piano album, "My Journey to Venus," (2012) on the label Internal Compass. Followed a stream of releases, both as a sideman - with the Ehud Ettun Trio: “Raw Gestures” (2014). “Deep in The Mountains” (2019), with the inimitable Nuri Korn: “Ahavat Hanosea Hamatmid” (2013), with the Itamar Tsur Trio (2017), the “Revirado Project” (2018) lead by Enrique Thompson, “First Meeting” (2017) with BiWald, and two records under his own name “Microcosmos” (2019) and “In the Enchanted Garden” (2020), featuring Nuri Korn and a team of amazing musicians. In 2023 Daniel and Shahar Abergel (vocal) recorded "Connecting", their debut EP under Segal Music, in Berlin, for their new project Shemesh. Shemesh has now grown into a band, and is now working on a first album with producer Daniel Harley. Daniel Schwarzwald has performed in Jazz festivals and Jazz venues across the globe, all over Europe, in the USA, Japan, Russia, Belarus, with an ever growing number of established and renown musicians, such as Kevin Mahogany, Itamar Borochov, Eli Degibri, Ziv Ravith, and Ehud Ettun.
