Proud to be Australian, Cheeky Monkey Club was created in 2004 when Juanita combined her love of child development with her creativity and performance experience. The main focus is to create a welcoming place where children are encouraged to be resilient, thoughtful, imaginative & happy. Celebrating over 20 years of performing musical adventures to live and online audiences has been a dream for Juanita and her team of Banana Bunchees. Writing a new adventure to explore with Cheeky Monkey inspires the introduction of new music to support the engaging content delivered. Cheeky Monkey Club has over 120 videos on their extensive YouTube channel, so if there is a favourite song you enjoy on Spotify, you will most likely find a video to match! Juanita is a fully qualified dance teacher in all theatrical dance genres and has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Drama. This would explain why all of Juanita's songs encourage movement through action or dance. Using improvisation and music interpretation, Juanita's lyrics often tell you how to move. Young audiences can follow the choreography and actions on the music videos to help develop spatial awareness, coordination, fine and gross motor skills, timing, rhythm, and phrasing.
