Miro is the electronic music duo of Mads Arp and Steen Thottrup, active since 1990. They made their debut with Energy / Mystery on Coma Records in 1991 and gained international recognition after moving to London with the release of Pure Silk on Effective Records, which became a Pete Tong “Essential New Tune” and charted in the UK. Miro has performed at iconic venues like Ministry of Sound and Pumpehuset, and released music on influential labels including Hooj Choons (Paradise, By Your Side). Their version of Greece 2000 by Three Drives reached No. 12 on the UK Top 40. Miro is also known for their chillout work, appearing on multiple Café del Mar, Buddha Bar, and Les Bains Douches compilations.
