Tzeni Vanou was a prominent Greek singer, born in Athens in 1939, who rose to fame after meeting composer Mimis Plessas. She began her career in 1959 and won the Thessaloniki Song Festival in 1964. Known for her Laïko and Entehno style, she released numerous songs and albums throughout her career, leaving a significant mark on Greek music before her passing in 2014.
