NYC-born arranger and multi-instrumentalist Charles Ritz has a penchant for nostalgia that he channels into creative interpretations of the songs that made his childhood special. A part of the thriving video game music community for over a decade, he has contributed to community mainstays like Multiplayer Charity and GameGrooves, In 2024, alongside Alejandro Espinosa, co-produced the collaborative mega-album CHAMPIONS: A Tribute to Shovel Knight. Charles is proud to regularly collaborate with young, cutting-edge creative people. He has arranged and performed for Zoe Sparks, Madds Buckley, simmerr, Bermuda Search Party, and Dov Beck-Levine. In Spring 2023, as a part of Zoe Sparks’ band, he played at the Roadrunner in Boston, opening for Mac Ayres. Charles also holds a bachelor's degree in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music, with a minor in Video Game Scoring. In December 2021, he organized a live concert featuring his arrangements of music from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, which was performed at Berklee.
