Dj Snowboy is a South African Born and raised producer , Song composer & Dj who grew up around the country’s mix of house, kwaito, hip-hop and amapiano that shaped his sound that is rhythmic, melodic, and built for the dancefloor. What started as late nights chopping samples in a bedroom setup turned into a full-time obsession with beat making and sound design. Every kick, snare, and synth gets placed with intention . it’s not about trends but it’s about capturing a feeling that hits in the chest. He sets swing between deep, groovy build-ups and high-energy drops, pulling from South African club culture while keeping things fresh and unpredictable. In the studio, the same energy applies: blending hard-hitting drums with unexpected textures to create tracks that work as well in big rooms as they do on headphones at 2 a.m. His Latest release “Ibhanoyi” brings that direction together — fusing familiar African rhythms with modern production for something local, global, and made to move people.
