Distant Dominion was formed during quarantine voids of the COVID-19 pandemic by Ryan Moll, Brian Deal, and Frank Esposito, followed soon after by the additions of Joe Gordon and Shawn Riley. Soon after recording for their debut full-length, Frank stepped down and left his prodigious compositions in the skilled hands of Steven Dever. A thick thaumaturgy of bass riffage, dynamic guitars, driving drums, and vicious vocals propel listeners to the far reaches of the known metal world: DISTANT DOMINION. On their debut album, members of Imperial Crystalline Entombment, Krieg, Mortal Decay, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder and Polterchrist craft crushing cosmic spells, melding energetic leads and hulking rhythms to the ends of the Earth.
