The Jazzbirds are a group of musicians from the Munich jazz scene led by composer and guitarist Stefan F. Huber. Since their foundation in 1997, the Jazzbirds have been working on creating their own soulful style, which is composed of the harmonies of jazz and the rhythms of Latin, swing and fusion music. The Jazzbirds' music is characterized by catchy melodies, virtuoso improvisations and versatile rhythms. The band's special sound is created by the big band arrangements and the dialog between the two wind players. The music is composed and arranged by Stefan F. Huber. The lyrics were written by the Brazilian singer and lyricist Regina Guinee. The Jazzbirds have played several times at the Burghausen International Jazz Festival and the Jazzkeller Burghausen, as well as the Munich Jazz Festival at the Gasteig and the Unterfahrt in Munich. “The Jazzbirds' sound makes you happy and gets you moving.” (Süddeutsche Zeitung) www.jazzbirds.band
