Jupiter is a Franco-English duo based in Paris, but it is in London that Quarles and Amelie meet: a dancefloor emptied by a forgotten hit (Mama Used To Say), a party that ends too early, a band was born. The collaboration between Amélie and Quarles is based on a common passion for an era tinged with rhinestones and carefreeness. The dominance of disco and electro-funk is clearly at the heart of Jupiter's music, but the band also confesses wider influences and quotes Sly & Robbie , Beach House, The Alan Parson Project , Siriusmo or even the Beastie Boys
