Underground, ωμός καλλιτέχνης punk rock
In Torrance, California (No relation to Jack Torrance from the Stephen King novel, "The Shining"), a bunch of weird and wacky characters came together to form a band in the summer of 2010. These men were soon wiped off the face of the Earth in a great Pokemon battle and replaced by dopplegangers who decided to open a fast food restaurant that served dog meat but offered a vegan option in the form of music. They called themselves LEAVE IT TO CLEAVER. From day one, CLEAVER had one strict rule; if the song was good, it did not matter the genre, nor if the lyrics were humorous or serious. So with that being said, the band cranked out their debut album "And You Thought We Were Nice" on April 1st, 2013. The album was littered with a healthy dose of comedy (Gauc of the Mole People, Three Friends) and tragedy (Desert Holocaust, Elixer). CLEAVER took their Horror/Humor show on the road, playing at several famous hot spots such as The Whiskey A Go-Go, Chain Reaction, and many more. Along the way, they recorded the EPs, "Blockade Mutton Chops," "French Bulldogette," and "Grandpa Beans Burrito" all by themselves in their home studio. If you are brave enough to order off their vegan menu, get ready to laugh, cry, and bark with joy!
Leave It To Cleaver plays a blend of punk and metal, often incorporating both humorous and tragic lyrical themes, as heard on their debut album "And You Thought We Were Nice."
