Permacrush is a high-energy rock band founded by Chris Crush. Known on the Hollywood Sunset Strip for their hook-driven, Classic Rock vibe, the band has lit up stages across America and Canada. Their track “Only Friend” earned national attention after a Microsoft promotion garnered over 400,000 downloads. With albums like Snake Oil, Vice and Retrospect, a collection of the band's best work, Permacrush continues to deliver raw, electrifying rock for a new generation. Over 20 years of Rock. Chris Crush took the band from the clubs of the Midwest to the clubs of Hollywood, opening gigs for some of the biggest names in Rock at the legendary Sunset Strip venue, The Whisky a Go Go. "I really only wanted to play The Whisky. That stage. That room. It wasn't a bucket list thing for me. I wanted to really do it. If it's the only stage I play, I'm okay with that. After 30 or so shows there, I know I've been fortunate enough to do that and more. But who's counting? I never looked at it as paying dues. I never cared if other people cared. Every night for me was, and still is, a dream. A charming, surreal event. You never know who you'll run into backstage. I have been happy to be a part of this modern era of Rock in Hollywood."
