Shedding the bounds of traditional three-piece rock, Phantom Noir are one of the most exciting bands of the new decade. With members experienced in heavy metal, prog, and funk, their songs also utilize pop hooks, creating a style similar to The Neighbourhood, PVRIS, and Bring Me The Horizon. Their lyrics explore universal but seldom-discussed issues of the human mind, examining depression, anxiety, failed expectations, fear, and self-doubt; topics often-reflective of the addiction battles faced by vocalist, Paul Castronova. Champions of the D.I.Y. movement, the band is self-funded and self-managed. Guitarist/Producer Brogun Allen co-founded his own active recording studio and music production company, while drummer Alex Ridgeway is an active professional in his regional scene.
