Dj PlayMo (aka PlayMo Bill) , is one of the most Influential djs to the nu freestyle ground of Athens / Greece. Borned and raised in NYC till early 90's , he came to Greece bringing the multi coloured sounds of the big city..! There, at the period ,was a time of change for the whole music scene of the city , moving from classic to most contemporary kinds n' styles , that matched 100% with PlayMo's apettite for fresh grooves -but also- precious and rare stuff from allover the globe- that ppl in majority were not still familiar to.. So, in '94 he starts doin his first performances at Aigio (building his set's character) and at '98 moves in Athens and gains recidencies in some of the most iconic clubs for the current decade and the next ones followed.. Places as Folie, Kidden Garden (Nipiagogio) , Thirio , TAF , Faust , Four Twenty break bar , having him in the 1st line eversince. Representing all theese big places , as expected , he comunicate and came in touch with very serious pionneers of each 'n every era passed-ing, precious years that gave shape and knowledje to his music soul , something u can feel in all of his sets , as its dificult to estimate every time in wich way u're gonna be hitted .. Along the years big colaborations have uprised on his decks , as he has share the booth with guys like : Bonobo , Quantic , TM Juke , Alice Russel , Andy Smith (portishead) , Guts , lack of afro , JStar , Dj Food , Nickodemus , Fort Knox 5 , Hugo Kant , Belleruche and some more very interesting persons...!! You may catch him nowadays ,as an active freelance Jokey and member of the FourTwenty Kolektiv (Athens) , spreading his unique sets, concluding (except from his life experiences), taste from the afro ,brazil-caribean side , mixxed in different ways with breaks ,jazzful ,disco ,dubby n' electronik tensions ... all over the city in certain authorised music n' booze dealers..
