Brenna Whitaker

Born in Kansas City, Brenna Whitaker grew up in historic homes her parents renovated and restored—some of them haunted—sparking her lifelong love for history and storytelling. By age 11, she was already performing in professional regional theater, laying the foundation for the dynamic stage presence she’s known for today. After moving to Los Angeles, Brenna quickly became a central figure in the resurgence of the city’s vibrant “jazz nights” scene. Her larger-than-life stage presence and haunting vocals have drawn a remarkable range of audiences and collaborators—from legends like Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Tom Jones, Gladys Knight, and Gene Simmons to contemporary stars including Justin Bieber, John Mayer, and Michael Bublé. Many of them have even joined her onstage with her band. Brenna’s debut album was produced by the legendary David Foster. Her music has been featured on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance & ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. She contributed “It’s Not Easy Being Green” to Universal Records’ We Love Disney album & toured with Andrea Bocelli across America. With her powerhouse ensemble, The Brenna Whitaker Little Big Band, she performs at some of the most exclusive private events and tours internationally. In Los Angeles, she holds a monthly residency at Herb Alpert’s iconic Vibrato Jazz Club in Bel Air. Her latest album, released on Green Hill Productions, part of Sun Label Group (a subsidiary of Primary Wave Music), is available now on all music platforms.
