SPITSHINE

SPITSHINE is an indie/emo band based in the New York metropolitan area. The band consists of Kyle Cooke (guitar/vocals), Ori Yekutiel (drums), Emily Case (vocals/guitar), and Dan See (bass). This iteration of SPITSHINE released their first single "self titled" together in January of 2024, marking the beginning of a new era of SPITSHINE. Since "self titled' has been released, SPITSHINE has released sister EPs, good morning & goodnight and their newest single "sng abt a cat." The band got its start in 2018 playing local venues in New Jersey and New York along with former members Tom Hickey (bass), Grady Picinich (bass), + Sierra Polgar (vocals). SPITSHINE has since performed live for audiences at notable venues such as The Stone Pony, The Bowery Electric and Crossroads. In 2019, SPITSHINE released its first EP Get Out Of Bed to critical praise. The EP features the acclaimed single “Forget You.” In 2020, SPITSHINE self-recorded demo versions of 4 new songs to be professionally mixed, mastered, and released in 2021 as an EP entitled 2020 Demos. SPITSHINE’s debut full-length album entitled take ur meds, feel better was released on July 8th, 2022, featuring the lead single “California.” The group was founded by Cooke, Yekutiel and Hickey in 2017.
