Eveline Ypma

Eveline Ypma is an ambient composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound artist from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She is specialized in composition with a modest and playful character. Her love for nature can be heard through the soundscapes in her compositions; this brings an organic and quirky dimension to her music. “Creating new work is like shaping a planet. I search for emotions, objects, atmosphere and surroundings that fit. This I translate to musical instruments, sounds, timbres, tones and eventually music. In this way I ensure my compositions, for film and other projects, have a complete unique soundworld.”
