Best known for their participatory live shows, the Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt are an indie electro-pop group that made their full-length album debut on Luaka Bop in 2010. Founded in 2007 by frontman Neil Fridd, who hails from New York state, the group is something of a one-man band. Fridd not only sings the songs but also makes the beats and leads the group's live performances, which initially involved him, an iPod, and a ridiculous costume constructed from stuffed animals but later grew to include a full-scale band and audience participation. Following a couple home-made recordings, the Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt made their commercial recording debut on former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne's label Luaka Bop with We're Humans: Be Awesome! (2008), a three-track EP released on a 5" clear CD. A couple years later, the Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt made their full-length album debut with the absurdly titled I Love You. I Love You. I Love You and I'm in Love with You. Have an Awesome Day! Have the Best Day of Your Life! (2010). ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
