Troy Baker Sound’s multicultural upbringing—split between Jamaica, England, and the U.S.—laid the foundation for his genre-fluid approach to music. Immersed in the industry from a young age through his family’s label, Gee Street Records, Troy began his journey at GeeJam Studios in Jamaica at just 12 years old. By his teens, he was already engineering and producing artists across genres, crafting a sound that fuses dancehall energy with global influences—a reflection of his diverse roots and forward-thinking vision. In October 2025, TBS drops the first single from his debut project—a collaboration with Skeng—featuring both the original and its bold “Tek Charge Mix.” This release introduces his Tek Charge series, launching in 2026, where each track comes with a reimagined mix and a new platform for creativity—including an upcoming Tek Charge Challenge inviting artists worldwide to put their own spin on the sound.
