Zohar & Adam
Brothers Zohar and Adam Cabo are emerging as one of the most exciting new acts in contemporary jazz. Drawing on jazz, Latin rhythms, hip hop, and global music, the duo brings a lifetime of shared musical experiences to their eclectic, genre-crossing performances. Their music combines adventurous improvisation with a near-telepathic communication forged through years of playing together. On their debut album, Osmosis, Zohar and Adam weave together the diverse strands of their musical upbringing into a distinctive sound reminiscent of artists like Chick Corea and Weather Report. Born to musician parents, the brothers were seasoned performers from a young age, recording as a family band at Sun Studio. Their development has been mentored by bass legend Christian McBride.
