In February 2019, six young Brussels musicians travelled to New Orleans. Their deep interest in 1920s jazz led them to perform on the streets and stages of the city alongside local artists. While the band is named after America's mockingly jazziest bird, they go beyond simple covers. They compose original material and rearrange century-old jazz gems with a fresh perspective, all while staying true to the New Orleans style they admire.
