The Smallest Things
Underground, υπαίθρια βραδιά experimental
A warm welcome to the WIP Format at the Berlin Circus Festival! In collaboration with Cie Moost, the festival presents the final showcase of an artist residency. This performance is the result of a week-long research project. “The Smallest Things” is a melancholic and humorous duo that creates a performance out of nothing, right before the audience’s eyes, without any artifice. Marc Oosterhoff and Owen Winship perform on a bare stage, exploring the possibilities of a minimalist setting. Using whatever is at hand, they create feats both small and grand with few words and playful acrobatics. The Moost Company, founded by Marc Oosterhoff, combines circus, dance, and theater to find a non-elitist, playful approach to the performing arts. The Berlin Circus Festival supports this new production as a work-in-progress.
