Goblin Band

Goblin Band is a six-piece ensemble that emerged from sessions at a London folk instrument shop. Firmly rooted in the traditional music of the British Isles, the group also incorporates medieval, early music, and international folk influences into their sound. Utilizing an array of instruments including strings, hurdy-gurdy, flutes, and horns, the band interprets folk songs through a lens of past and present political upheavals. Their performances aim to create a space for new audiences to experience traditional music in a way that is both riotously joyful and deeply sincere.
