Black Sheep is an American hip hop duo from Queens, New York, featuring Andres ‘Dres’ Titus and William ‘Mista Lawnge’ McLean. Formed in 1989, they gained significant acclaim with their 1991 debut album ‘A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing’, which went gold in the U.S. and produced major hits like ‘The Choice Is Yours (Revisited)’. After a hiatus starting in 1995, the duo reunited in 2000 and has since released additional material, including the 2006 record ‘8VM/Novakane’. They are recognized as key figures in the hip hop world for their intelligent, catchy lyrics and energetic live performances.
