Brian Bilston & The Catenary Wires
Underground, αργή βραδιά jangle pop
Described as the ‘Poet Laureate of Twitter’ and ‘part John Cooper-Clarke, part Frank Sidebottom’, Brian Bilston is a poet clouded in the pipe smoke of mystery. Very little is known about him other than fragments of information revealed on social media: his penchant for tank tops, his enjoyment of Vimto, and his dislike of Jeremy Clarkson. The Catenary Wires were formed in 2014 when Amelia Fletcher and Rob Pursey moved out of London. They started playing songs on their daughter's 3/4 size acoustic guitar and often feature guest musicians when playing live. Their songs are quiet and mostly sad.
