Jazz guitarist Francis Tulip, a graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and winner of their Jazz Performance Prize, brings his trio to the 606 Club. Known for his technical prowess and creative spark, Tulip is influenced by contemporary guitarists Kurt Rosenwinkel and Mike Moreno, as well as horn players. For this performance, the trio is joined by Suffolk-born trumpeter Mejedi Owusu, a Juilliard student championed by pianist Emmet Cohen.
