Over three evenings in July, the Kiezsalon series takes over the Akademie der Künste, utilizing a unique sonic environment that ranges from its subterranean bunker to the rooftop terrace overlooking the Brandenburg Gate. This edition features a curated selection of international and local avant-garde artists. The Friday program features Montreal violinist Sarah Neufeld and Berlin-based electroacoustic artist Elif Gulin Soguksu. Other evenings in the residency include performances by Francesca Marongiu, Peder Simonsen, Limpe Fuchs, Grischa Lichtenberger, and Cahl Sel.
